Collaboration with Rochelle Morgan-Verdin. Rochelle explores and honors her Native American heritage by learning the ancient crafts of her ancestors. She created beautiful beaded earrings for my subject to wear that hangs through the hole in the board adding to the depth and meaning of the piece.

In this board collection I explore freedom and rebellion and push the envelope on what it means to be a fine artist. I have never been able to play small or fit within your white walled box. Fine art for all. 

I tell stories through color, and this medium and shape gave me that creative license to speak my truth and shine light on others hidden sorrows and joys.
